This still makes ZERO sense to me

Kinda hilarious that a guy who constantly worries about how I spend my time
Wastes time worrying about what a baseball manager is thinking.. ...blahahaha

It didnt work out for him.....next

That is kinda dumb
Is larussa trying to imply turner is a better hitter with 2 strikes then he is 1 or 0

He thinks calling someone Jackie Robinson is racist even though that guy called himself the modern day version of Jackie Robinson.
Larussa may be in the Joe Biden stages of his mental capabilities

I have never heard of a manager intentionally walking someone on a 1-2 count b/c he has a good batting average vs lefties with 2 strikes on him.

LaRussa was known as "the smartest manager in baseball" 30-35 years ago and he probably thinks he's still a genius.

This may be the 2nd worse LaRussa moment. The first is him doing the alphabet at a DUI stop

First base was occupied. The runner advanced to 2nd after ball one was a wild pitch

Not justifying his move, but that's why it happened on a 1-2 count

I would at least try to get him to chase. The unintentional intentional walk

I would feel WAY better if the Sox tried to do that

With 2 strikes on a guy, go for the whiff. Although Muncy has been off this season, i'm not gonna intentionally walk a guy to pitch to the cleanup hitter.

Firing manager worked for Phillies probably would for the but...... in Cincinnati maybe moving to Kentucky is their answer. How can you lose when your pitcher throws a no hitter :+clueless

The best is today I am reading that Joe Maddon changed his hair style to a Mohawk to fire up his team.

before he was able to see his team, he was fired.

I heard Tony LaRussa and Joe Madden were starting a business selling used paint.
